The latest travel update took place on 26th August 2021, with countries moving across the traffic lights.
The latest updates are:
Countries moving to Green List from 4am on 30th August:
- Canada
- Denmark
- Finland
- Liechtenstein
- Lithuania
- Switzerland
- The Azores
This is great news if you're looking to get away, with even more countries already on the Green List.
Thailand and Montenegro will be moved to the red list at the same time.
What is a Green List?
The Green List means that holidaymakers can visit destinations on this list and not have to quarantine for 10 days on their return to the UK.
You will still be required to take a pre-departure test before returning to the UK, as well as a PCR test on day 2 of your return.
Countries will have requirements to enter such as vaccinations or negative COVID tests, you will need to check requirements before travelling.
It’s always recommended to check the Gov FCO website for the latest requirements. You can visit it here.
