Travel is finally opening for double vaccinated travellers

Quarantine-free travel from amber countries to start from July 19!

Finally, some fantastic news for travellers has just been announced by the UK Government – people who have had both vaccinations will no longer be required to self-isolate when returning from amber list countries.

This easing of restrictions will come into effect on the 19th of July, when all remaining Covid restrictions will be dropped.

'Full vaccinated' means 14 days have passed since you have had both doses of the vaccine.

What does this mean for you?

For those of you who have had both of your vaccinations, the options you have for summer holidays has just opened up hugely, with over 30 countries recognising the double vaccination rule.   For those who haven’t yet had both vaccines, you now have the assurance of knowing you can plan and book your next holiday with confidence.

Of course, it’s important to remember that it’s not only the UK Government’s rules that need to be considered, but also the individual rules of the countries that we wish to travel to, and it’s vital we understand this before booking any holiday.

This is without a doubt the most exciting news the travel industry has received in over 15 months, and we at Not Just Travel are ready to help with planning and booking your long awaited holidays!

Get in touch today, let's start planning your well-deserved break!
